AUTOASSESS Launches Open Call for Innovative Tech Solutions

AUTOASSESS Open Call 1

AUTOASSESS has just launched its first open call: the Open Call for Tech Solutions. With this initiative, the project invites startups and SMEs to present innovative technology solutions addressing specific use-case challenges, related to the development of the AUTOASSES solution.

Benefits for Startups / SMEs:

The Open Call for Tech Solutions aims to select five proposals submitted by startups and SMEs applying individually or in consortia (up to two entities), that will be invited to take part in a 6-month programme and:

  • Get grants up to €100k (funding rate of 70% of the costs for SMEs and 100% for Startups)
  • Benefit from AUTOASSESS team of experts guidance, mentorship, training and access to infrastructure (demonstrators)
  • Be part of AUTOASSESS success stories, fostering industry uptake of AUTOASSESS solution
  • Contribute to real impact on demonstrators and end-user entities

How does it work?

Committed to an open innovation model, AUTOASSESS aspires to leverage the expertise and ideas of both the consortium and external stakeholders. Such an approach ensures that the project will be able to leverage the possibilities of cocreation, to create solutions that are ready to go to market before project completion. The Open Call for Tech Solutions aims to promote the engagement of innovative technological startups and SMEs applying to tackle one out of five specific project’s challenges:

  • Challenge 1 – Reliable high-bandwidth communication for off-board control of drones
  • Challenge 2 – Stereo event-camera on miniature drone
  • Challenge 3 – Human Operator interface for FA-IUAS
  • Challenge 4 – Crack detection with multi-element ultrasound transducer
  • Challenge 5 – Synchronization of multi-modal sensor data
